“You can’t build a reputation on what you’re going to do,” said Henry Ford. Astute words indeed from the renowned American industrialist and business magnate — reminding us that what carries weight is what has been done instead.

Indeed, speaking louder with actions rather than words, the ParkCity brand is underpinned by a solid portfolio, which is not just limited to property development, but also investments in education, hospitality and retail assets in all its townships in Malaysia and Vietnam.

In fact, its stalwart track record has accorded ParkCity such a strong reputation that it has become a benchmark for liveability.

How have we achieved this standing? Read on to know more.

1. Placemaking and community building

ParkCity’s strategy is elementary — remain innovative and stay relevant by introducing differentiated products that suit current market trends. Each product introduction is supported by extensive research, a clear understanding of customer demands and an analysis of the current market outlook. Thus, its assets have continued to evolve and adapt to the mandates of situational awareness and timeliness.

Devoted to placemaking and community building, ParkCity promotes environmentally-friendly, sustainable and wholesome developments. Among the innovative elements that make its townships stand out are “Walkable Community”, “Architectural Innovations” and “Energy-efficient Landscaping”.

“Each addition and improvement made in our townships is to promote the community’s health, happiness and wellbeing. In short, it’s simply about creating optimal communal living in our townships.”

2. Keeping a step ahead

“ParkCity has always been a forward-thinking developer. We had anticipated and reacted to the changes brought on by the pandemic even before it struck. For example, we have always prioritised a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle.

“In fact, at the very onset of the pandemic, we immediately took the initiative to implement proper standard operating procedures within our retail spaces and community surroundings.

“Our products, meanwhile, have incorporated a new holistic  communal lifestyle replete with ample inventive working and social spaces, and embellished with lush landscapes that promote a sustainable environment. For example, in Park Place @ ParkCity TownCenter, Desa ParkCity, home units extend to a common space measuring more than 20,000 sq ft for its residents. Launched in 2020 during the global market lull, Park Place notched up more than 86% sales at its launch and to date, has achieved more than 98% sales.

“Our South Brooks development in Desa ParkCity, on the other hand, was conceived to cater to first-home owners and a younger target market. It was priced accordingly to allow the younger generation an opportunity to be part of Desa ParkCity’s community. Having achieved over 99% sales of its total 920 units, excited owners were handed their keys in September 2021.

“Each addition and improvement made in our townships is to promote the community’s health, happiness and wellbeing. In short, it’s simply about creating optimal communal living in our townships,” says ParkCity Group CEO, Datuk Joseph Lau.

3. Not just a liveable space, but a meaningful lifestyle

The changing landscape of a post-pandemic lifestyle necessarily influences the recent product designs offered to the market, with even greater focus on facilities, amenities and sustainability. By expanding on the array of amenities and facilities, ParkCity has enhanced the functionality and wellbeing of its townships and communities, as well as increased the value proposition of its properties.

In the ParkCity townships, undeveloped parcels of land are vegetated to form pockets of urban forests that keep the community green, functional and tranquil. Meanwhile, most of the public facilities and amenities here surpass the basic requirements set by the local authorities.

Putting these public facilities to good use, ParkCity prioritises community engagement and activities through frequent events that promote sportsmanship, volunteerism and community responsibility.
